You gotta have a past, right? As well as a life after Shotgun Messiah. Here's some info about demos recorded by bands with members that later came together to form Kingpin/Shotgun Messiah. • "I Don't Care ('Bout Nothing)" slightly retitled "I Don't Care 'Bout Nothin" for the 'Kingpin' album and later retitled again to "Don't Care 'Bout Nothin" for the 'Shotgun Messiah' album.
• "We Ride The Storm" later retitled "Ride The Storm" for the 'Second Coming' album.
• There is a second version of this demo with Zinny San on vocals, singing only half of "We Ride The Storm".

1. The Explorer

Notes:
• "The Explorer" was intentionally recorded as a demo for Harry alone, wich later resulted in him showing up in Mike Varney's "Spotlight"-column i Guitar Player. The song later showed up on the Kingpin/Shotgun Messiah debut album. Though Harry handles the bass on the demo version, Tim plays the bass on the album-version. The demo was recorded in Peo Pettersons studio in Harrys hometown Tibro, Sweden, during spring 1986 and took approx four weeks to write and arrange.
